Get the latest on events and happenings in the Cardinal Career Center. Parents, you can also read the EHS daily announcements by logging on to PowerSchool. Parent ID's and Passwords can be obtained in the EHS office by showing a photo ID.   Also, all EHS students can access their grade and attendance information in PowerSchool by using their student internet id and 6 digit password.

The Dept. of Psychology, Sociology, and Counseling at Northwest Missouri State University will host its fourth annual Missouri Undergraduate Psychology Conference on November 14.  Speakers, presentations, discussions, and dramas will be included in the day.  The conference page is available here.  Register online by October 31.

KSU "Just for Juniors" info event.  November 3, 6:30 to 8:30pm in Topeka.  Register online.

Fall Parent Event-JCCC.  November 6.  This is an opportunity for parents of juniors and seniors to learn more about how to assist their student with the college decision process.  Reps from financial aid, career services, counseling services and admissions will be present.  Contact 913.469.8500 ext. 4398.

HS Partnerships--Career/Life Planning Workshop for Juniors- "STAMP OUT CAREER INDECISION"  November 8, 8:30AM-12:00PM.  This free event will focus on 'The Career Decision-Making Process' as it relates to career selection and college choice.  Contact 913.469.8500 ext. 4384

JCCC hosting 1st ever Veteran's Day commemorative event!  Nov. 11 from 11am to 12pm in the JCCC Polsky Theatre.

CHOICES Workshops-JCCC for Seniors.  November 11 & 13.  A two-session workshop designed to help students identify their career interests, personality preference, work-related values, and skills.

KU's Society of Women Engineers sponsors two different activities each year for teen girls to see the fun in engineering.  SWE Weekend (Nov. 14-16 and (Feb. 27-March 1) and Project Discovery (June 14-20 and July 12-18).  Visit the site here.

Kansas State University Women's Rowing Team is interested in offering Division I scholarship opportunities. If you are interested, please fill out an online profile. No experience is necessary to earn a first-year scholarship! Height is an advantage in this sport, if you are 5'10 or taller, you will be given preference!
