EHS graduation requirements & Course Catalog
The 2011-12 EHS Course Catalog will provide you with the courses offered at EHS, as well as graduation requirements and additional useful information.
Eudora High School requires 24 credits for graduation. Below is a list of the number of classes required in each subject area and what classes can be taken to fulfill the requirements.
- 4 English: English I, English II, English III, English IV. The college classes English Composition and Introduction to Literature may be substituted for English IV.
- 3 Social Science: U.S. History (1), Government (.5), Sociology (1/2), Civics (1), World Geography (1), Economics (1/2), World History (1), International Relations (.5). The college classes American National Government and Introduction to Psychology may be substituted for Government.
- 3 Math: Math I, Math II, Math III, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Intermediate Algebra, Trigonometry, College Algebra, Calculus & Statistics.
- 3 Science: Biology I, Biology II, Physical Science, Earth Space Science, Chemistry, Chemistry II, Physics, Anatomy & Physiology, and Investigating Tech Pathways.
- 2 Practical Arts: One credit must be Computer Applications I. The remaining credit will be selected from the following program areas: Business, Family and Consumer Science, Industrial Technology, or the Career and Technical Education program courses.
- 1 PE/Health: PE/Health (1/2 unit each)
- 1 Fine Art: Art, Band, Choir, Foreign Language (Spanish), Speech, Digital Imaging, Photojournalism.
- The Kansas Board of Regents Qualified Admissions Requirements- In the State of Kansas students must meet one of three requirements to be guaranteed admission to any of the six Kansas State universities. The KBOR site has details on these requirements.
