Classroom News
We are done with first quarter! I can not believe how fast the year is going. During second quarter we will be focusing on Addition, Subtraction, Economics, Healthy vs. Unhealthy Foods, Thanksgiving and Christmas Around the World. We will also be learning about The Way Things Work. The children will learn about simple machines and make their own invention! In December we will be making our famous gingerbread houses!
My Husband Nathan Jamison is a firefighter in Lawrence and he visited every first grade class to help us learn about fire safety.
We will also begin writing to our pen pals in Mrs. Spring's class in Wyoming.
