Eudora Schools Apple Award
Based on the belief that excellence among individuals creates excellence across the district, the Eudora Schools Apple Award will recognize one outstanding staff member, in any position, who has demonstrated outstanding service or achievement.
Who is eligible to
receive the award?
Everyone who works in
the Eudora School District is a candidate for the Apple Award.
Secretaries, teachers, bus drivers, administrators, paras,
custodians … anyone who contributes excellence to the district’s
team is eligible. This award may recognize a candidate who has
received grant, a promotion, personal and/or personal development,
longevity, attendance, or any other noteworthy
accomplishment.
What is the nomination
and selection process?
Any person working in
the district may nominate a candidate for the Apple Award.
Nomination forms received by the deadline for each semester will be
considered by a selection committee that includes representatives
of all types of job titles. The committee’s final selection will be
announced in a surprise gathering in the winner’s school building
before the end of the given semester.
How can I nominate a
worthy coworker?
Simply fill out a nomination form and submit to the Central
Office by the deadline. Download a copy of the call for

What is the deadline
for the next selection?
The
next Apple Award winner will be announced in December 2008. The
deadline for nominations will be announced in November.
