EMS choirs impress judges at festival

The Eudora Middle School choirs performed at the Emporia State Choral Festival on Saturday, March 8. The contest is held on the campus of Emporia State University.
Three choirs earned the top "superior" rating: the advanced seventh and eighth grade choir, the sixth grade choir and the seventh and eighth grade boys choir. The seventh and eighth grade girls choir earned the "excellent" rating.
"The choirs all performed well," said choir director Angela Yarnell. "We received extra compliments about our professional behavior and appearance. The kids represented our middle school extremely well."
