Student of the Week: Josh Blaisdell

Congratulations to Josh Blaisdell, Student of the Week for April 21-25! Josh is a senior at Eudora High School and the son of Bill and Carrie Blaisdell. He is a member of the Eudora High School Band, as well as Men’s Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble. He has served as a leader of these groups during the school year, serving as choir president. Josh recently participated in the Regional Solo and Ensemble Festival at Baker University where he earned four I (Superior) ratings for his vocal solo, marimba solo, accompanying Cantorei on the vibraphone, and as a member of the EHS Percussion Ensemble. He also received an Excellent rating for his part in the Men’s Ensemble performance. Josh will participate in the State Solo and Ensemble Festival at Andover High School on April 26. He plans on attending Emporia State University and majoring in music.
