Congratulations to Madison Mater, Student of the Week for Sept. 22-26! Madison is a senior at Eudora High School and the daughter of Kim Schulz and the late David Mater. Here are a few things about Madison:
Favorite subject: Speech and forensics
Favorite book: Bridge to Terabithia
Favorite food: Thai food
Hero: Betty Parrish, a family friend. Parrish, she added, is "a 94-year-old woman I know who is the strongest most intelligent and inspirational person I've ever met."
What are your future plans? To continue my education and become a writer of some sort.
