Kansas State Library, in cooperation with community and school
libraries, launched the online tutoring service for Kansas children
in grades four through 12.
Tutoring is available Monday through Friday to Kansas children, parents, and teachers. The service is easy to use — just enter your grade level and the subject you want help in, and HomeworkKansas does the rest, connecting you with the best available tutor. You can request the same tutor each time you log in, and Spanish language tutors are available, as well.
Tutors don't provide answers — they provide help. The help can happen in chat or instant messaging, or using several online and web-based tools and resources. Tutors are certified teachers, college professors, professional tutors, and college students from top universities. They all have passed a third-party background check by an independent security firm and have completed a rigorous training process.
