Your sophomore year

Here are some of the things to consider during your sophomore year in high school.

Kansas Career Pipeline- Check out this awesome Career & Education planning website! Our school access code is 13140.  Students, create an account using your school internet id's & passwords.  Batch code information is available in the Career Center.

 

The next PSAT/NMSQT test will be given at EHS for College Bound Sophomores/Juniors Wednesday, October 12, 2011.  This is a pre-SAT test and junior scores my qualify them for the National Merit Scholarship Competition.  Black students my also enter the 2010 National Achievement Scholarship program when they take the PSAT.  Sigh up is in the Career Center.  See Mr. Walrod with questions.

  • PLAN test- ACT's college readiness assessment for 10th graders.  This is given in all Sophomore English classes at EHS with no cost to our students first week of November.  
  • NCAA Clearinghouse- Potential NCAA athletes should check out this site to ensure eligibility.
  • NAIA Freshmen Eligibility Requirements- Potential NAIA Athletes should frequent this site.
  • Sophomore Enrollment Form. This form will be completed during the spring semester of a student's freshman year.
