The Card is Landing!

Back-to-school information is the focus of the next issue of the Eudora Schools newsletter, The Card, which will be delivered as a special section inside this Thursday's issue of the Lawrence Journal-World. All residents of Eudora will receive the newspaper and supplemental section, regardless of whether they are regular subscribers.
The Card comes out four times a year and includes highlights and photos from each of the district's schools. Included in the issue of The Card are the shuttle bus schedule, yearly calendar and important information for the parents of new and returning students.
Readers also will get reports on the progress of the $3 million Safe Schools/Healthy Students grant and ongoing construction bond projects.
"This newsletter is a good update for our patrons and parents to demonstrate the great things happening in our district," said Don Grosdidier, superintendent of schools. "This back-to-school issue is especially useful, with important information and resources for parents."
Beginning next week, extra copies of the newsletter will be available at district schools and at the Eudora Schools district office, 1002 Elm.
