A new grade school and expanded middle school in the fall of 2009 ... a new auditorium at the high school and a new technical education center currently under construction .... All of these are signs that it's an exciting time to join the team at Eudora Schools!

In November 2007, voters passed a $45 million bond to provide opportunities for students and teachers, alike. From brand new school buildings and additions to state-of-the-art educational technology, the expansion in the next few years will set the course for a very exciting future. For employees — from beginning teachers to veterans — Eudora's schools and programs offer an opportunity to excel in the classroom and grow as a professional. Employees are encouraged to pursue professional development, and all new teachers new to the profession benefit from a district-wide mentoring program.

  • Eudora Schools now manages all employment applications electronically.  If you submitted a paper application during the 08-09 school year, it will be kept on file for one year.  However, applicants wishing to receive the greatest consideration for future jobs openings are strongly encouraged to apply again through the new online procedures.  To view job openings and apply online, log on to https://eudora.schoolrecruiter.net .
  • Classified openings are listed in the Lawrence Journal-World and are also posted on the School Recruiter website.
  • The substitute teacher program for the district is handled by Morgan Hunter staffing agency. For more information, please contact Morgan Hunter.
  • Special education positions are managed by the East Central Kansas Cooperative in Education, Interlocal #614. For information about special education openings, call the co-op at 785-594-2737.
