About Eudora Schools
In the Eudora School District, Kansas Unified School District No. 491, you'll find large-district opportunities in a small-district atmosphere. Our academics are second to none and are consistently recognized for accomplishment and success. Our teachers and staffare committed to excellence and to helping prepare each student to find individual achievement.
There are four educational facilities in the district, including an elementary school, a middle school (grades 6-8), and a high school (grades 9-12). Our district also is a partner in the Eudora-De Soto Technical Education Center, which offers agricultural science, auto collision repair, culinary arts, graphic communications and health career sciences.
The passage of a $45 million bond in November 2007 created extensive opportunities for growth and change. The flagship project on the bond is a new elementary school that opened in August 2009 and houses all of our district's students in grades one through five. Other exciting improvements will take place across the district, including a new technical education center and a new district athletics complex.
