Students -- Applications for Honors English, Journalism, Photojournalism and Digital Imaging are now available in the career center. The forms are due back March 31.
Applications for Sport Officiating will be available in the career center after break. Please listen for the announcement when they become available.
Girls' basketball players: Please turn in your uniforms to Coach Cossman's room before Thursday morning at 8:15.
Boys Basketball: Turn in your stuff before school on Wednesday or Thursday before school in Coach Deterding's room.
Baseball practice will be inside today right after school.
Reminders to SENIORS---the Kansas priority deadline for submitting the FAFSA is March 15!! Make sure you have plans to complete and submit yours for the 2010-11 academic year. You can still submit the FAFSA after March 15, but you may not receive full amounts of grants or loans. Anyone with any post-secondary education planned is encouraged to submit. Stop by the Career Center if you have questions or need assistance!

Prom Committee will meet Wednesday morning at 7:30 in Mrs. Claggett’s room.
Cheer/mascot tryouts will be March 27, with the clinics beginning March 22. Anyone who is interested in participating should pick up a tryout packet from the rack outside the office and return it to the EHS office or Coach Arb by March 12. Hope to see you there.
Basketball cheerleaders: Please turn in your uniforms by this Friday, March 12, to Coach Arb. Thank you.
Workers Needed: The U.S. Census Bureau needs you!! If you are a U.S. Citizen, at least 18 years old and have work experience, call the U.S. Census Bureau at 1-866-861-2010 today! Pay depends on the area where you live. Mr. Walrod has some brochures if you would like one. EOE
Math and Science Students! Kansas State University Engineering will again be hosting the Steel Ring Honor Society Competition night on April 23, 2010. Teams need to be registered by March 31. If you would like to be on a team, please contact Mr. Walrod or Kalen Wright by Spring Break. By placing in the competition, you are awarded a scholarship to use at KSU! So, come join a team!!
Dance Team tryouts are after spring break! Any currently enrolled 8-11th grader is eligible to try out for this group. Packets of information can be picked up in the wire rack outside the office. If you have questions, stop by and see Coach Kelso in room (D114).
There will be a Write-In literary extravaganza on MARCH 9, right after school, in Mr. Bova's room. Be there, or be not.
