Bachelors degree in HDFL from University of Kansas Masters degree in Early Childhood Special Education from University of Kansas
Mrs. Sara Lindsay
I am originally from a farm in Paradise, KS; a small town north of Russell about 15 miles. I have a love for children and animals. After graduating high school in 1997, I moved to Lawrence, KS to pursue my degree in Early Childhood Development at the University of Kansas. I graduated in 2001 with my bachelors degree in HDFL. In the spring of 2002 I began my masters degree in Early Childhood Special Education at the University of Kansas. I graduated with my masters in the summer of 2006. I have a wonderful, loving family that includes my husband Larry, my 19 year old daughter Makenna, my 14 year old twin boys, Kent and Kade, and of course my rescue dog, Reggie. If it wasn't for my family, I would not be able to be doing what I love to do; TEACH!
I have worked in Eudora as a resource teacher K-2 since February of 2004. I thoroughly enjoyed my position of being a resource teacher. The year of 08-09 was my first year in the early childhood special education preschool program and I continue to enjoy it immensely! I enjoy providing each child with a solid, whole child educational experience each and every day in preschool. Nothing can compare to spending my days with all of these children while they experience life. I love helping to instill a love of learning early in their education. Thank you for letting me be a part of your child's life!
