Academics at Eudora Schools
-
Academics are central to the student experience at Eudora Schools. Every student has a unique set of strengths and challenges, and our educators are committed to providing a challenging and supportive academic environment to meet each student’s needs.
A school system’s academic program for all grade levels focuses on three main areas:
- Curriculum, or what we teach
- Instruction, or how we teach
- Assessment, or how we measure student learning

Parents…
Here are two important tools that can help you better understand your student’s academic experience at Eudora Schools.Parent-teacher conferences are offered to all parents in October, although you may request a conference on an appointment-only date in September, or any time you have a concern about your child. Click here for what to expect at a conference — and tips to help you get the most out of your next parent-teacher conference.
Progress reports are provided for all students beginning in kindergarten. All teachers report student progress by positing grades online for families to view in the PowerSchool parent portal. Printed reports are available from the school office, on request. Click here to learn more about how just how valuable a tool your child's grade report can be.
