Mrs. Leslie Schrader

This is my fourth year as an 8th grade English teacher at EMS and my third year as an EMS Stuco sponsor. I graduated from the University of Kansas in 2018, and I am currently pursuing a Master's of Instructional Technology through Fort Hays State University. My student teaching experiences through the KU School of Education Professional Development program include working with high school sophomores and juniors in the Kansas City Kansas district, seventh and eighth graders in the Shawnee Mission district, and seventh grade English and English for Speakers of Other Languages in the Blue Valley School district. I was also a paraeducator at the elementary school level in Blue Valley.

I'm originally from Tallahassee, Florida but have lived in Olathe for fourteen years. My husband and I have two sons—a freshman at Johnson County Community College and a junior at Olathe North. Outside of education, I enjoy spending time with my family, visiting local farms, attending concerts, and reading.
