Mrs. Katie Hammerschmidt

Welcome to sixth grade science!  I am looking forward to another great year at Eudora Middle School. Prior to working at EMS, I worked as a substitute for the district, and taught third and fifth grades in De Soto and Lawrence. 

Our family has called Eudora home for many years and we love the community.  My husband, Dain, is an engineer and coaches football at EHS.  We have four children: Kale (12th grade), Bailey (9th grade), Shay (67h grade), and Hadley (1st grade).  When I am not busy attending their events, I enjoy reading, cheering on the Jayhawks, and walking our dog, Bruno.
