Superintendent

Dr. Stuart Moeckel is proud to serve as the Superintendent of Eudora Schools. He is dedicated to helping every student succeed, encouraging innovation in the classroom, and working closely with families and the community to support strong schools.

With more than 20 years of experience in education—as a teacher, principal, and district leader—Dr. Moeckel understands what it takes to create great learning experiences. He works closely with the Board of Education and school leaders to ensure all schools are working toward shared goals that support a culture of belonging, instructional excellence, and preparing students for the future they choose.

Since becoming superintendent, Dr. Moeckel has helped lead a successful $40 million bond project to improve school buildings across the district, including the addition of the Early Learning Center with a nature-themed playground. He has also supported programs that help students prepare for life after high school, expanded access to technology with 1-to-1 devices, and extended free breakfast options to ensure students start the day ready to learn.

Dr. Moeckel believes in setting high expectations, building strong teams, and creating a shared vision for success. He focuses on strategic planning, professional learning for teachers, and strong community partnerships—all in support of Eudora Schools’ promise to ensure every student is known by name, strength, and need and prepared for the future they choose.
