Special Services

Eudora Schools is dedicated to providing comprehensive and inclusive education for students of all abilities. Special education services play a crucial role in ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. At the elementary level, these services encompass a range of specialized programs. Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) focuses on addressing developmental delays and providing early intervention for children with disabilities. Related services, such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy, are available to students who require additional support to access the curriculum. Music therapy is another valuable component of special education services at EES. It utilizes the power of music to address the unique needs of students with disabilities.

Specialized Programs:

  • The Life Skills Programs equips students with practical abilities needed for daily living, fostering independence and self-sufficiency.
  • The CARDS classroom provides tailored instruction and strategies to meet the unique needs of students on the autism spectrum.

Additionally, WEBS is a social-emotional classroom offering a structured environment that nurtures emotional well-being, social skills development, and behavioral management. Through these various special education services, elementary schools strive to create an inclusive and supportive educational environment that empowers every child to reach their full potential.
