Ms. Cara Kimberlin
I have proudly served the students of the Eudora School District since 1999. The 2022-23 school year will be my 24th year in the district and my 13th year as the Athletic Director at EHS. I grew up in the small town of McLouth, KS, where I was active in sports year-round. After high school, I attended Allen Co. Community College and played basketball and softball for two years. I then transferred to Baker University and played basketball for another two years while completing my Bachelor of Science degree in Education, in 1993. Following graduation from Baker, I moved to Evansville, IN, where I was an assistant softball coach at the University of Evansville for two years. After two years, I returned to Kansas to coach at Baker and started working on my first master’s degree. In 1998, I earned a master's in Sports Administration/Sports Psychology at the University of Kansas. In 2009, I completed my Masters's in School Leadership from Baker University.
I believe athletics and activities are a key part of a student’s well-rounded education. The lessons that are learned in extracurricular activities often can’t be found in a textbook or the classroom. At Eudora High School we provide students with a quality education, filled with opportunities to get involved and make the most of their high school experience. Seeing students grow, succeed, and accomplish goals, both on and off the court, field, or stage, is a passion of mine. I get to see this happen every day at Eudora High School.
