Ms. Sandy Campbell

BACKGROUND: I grew up and got my Elementary Education degree in Kansas but spent most of my adult life raising 3 children and teaching in Colorado. I received my MA in Special Education while in Colorado. After 31 years, I got my MS in Educational Leadership and returned to Kansas in 2012. Besides my three endorsements, I am highly qualified to teach middle school Math and Language Arts.

EUDORA: This is my sixth year teaching at Eudora Middle School; my second as the 7th grade Resource Teacher.  As a special education teacher, I serve as the case manager for students in 7th grade who have an IEP (Individualized Education Plan.)  This year I am Co-Sponsor of the Student Council and help with detention and ASA, after-school programs aimed at helping students make responsible decisions regarding their academics or behavior.

MY RESPONSIBILITIES: As your student's Resource Teacher, I will be facilitating your child's annual IEP meeting, helping set up appropriate accommodations to allow your student to be successful in their core classes, offering organizational and study hints to help him/her stay current with assignments, and providing or managing inclusion support as indicated by a student's IEP. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me sooner than later so we can explore solutions to problems while they are still small.

CONTACT INFO: My preferred method of contact and the fastest way to reach me is by email (sandracampbell@eudoraschools.org) or you may call EMS and leave a message at 785-542-4960. You are welcome to call or text me on my personal cell at 316-305-4397 between 8AM & 8PM but plan to leave a message because I don't carry my phone around during school hours. I will most likely get your message after school and will return your call once I have an answer to your question.
