    Power Hour is open for all students not on the F list. 

     

    Students juniors taking the ACT tomorrow will eat second lunch. There will be no bells in the morning or announcements because of ACT testing.

     

    In honor of FFA week this week the following days will be dress up days:

    Monday: Merica Monday (Red and Blue)

    Tuesday: Texas Tuesday (Western Wear)

    Wednesday: Wear it Wednesday (Support your favorite implement dealer) John Deere/Case  

    Thursday: T-Shirt Thursday (Wear you FFA shirt or Blue and Gold Colors)

    Friday: Flannel Friday

    (However, no hats will be allowed this week during dress up days) 

     

    Please see Mrs. Randall throughout the week if you participate in dress up days during 2nd power hour in room D105 and she will put your name in a drawing for a $20 visa gift card. Two gift cards will be drawn on Friday. 

     

    Also throughout the week the Eudora FFA chapter is collecting stacks of newspapers and blankets for the Eudora Animal Hospital. For every item that you bring in your name will go into the drawing for a $20 visa gift card. 

     

    SADD will have a meeting during the second part of power hour on Monday and Tuesday this week! We look forward to all the productive-ness! See you there!

     

    For those interested in participating in tryouts for the Softball team this season, there will be a meeting right after school this Wednesday, February 26th in the black box classroom.  Anyone who is interested in being a part of the Softball program this season needs to attend this meeting, players and managers included.  If you have another practice right after school, please at least stop by so you can sign up, Thank you.

     

    STUDENTS -- There are two more Lunch & Learns on Friday. If you are interested in health careers or might be interested in health careers, or if you just want to listen to the presentations, the guest speakers will talk about their careers in nursing, as well as therapy services. Stop by the Career Center to sign up. The deadline is Friday by the end of second hour. You must be signed up to attend. 

     

    STUDENTS -- A representative from Creative Image Cosmetology will be here today; a rep from MidAmerica Nazarene University will be here on Thursday; and a rep from Johnson County Community College will be here on Friday.

    NEW THIS SEMESTER -- Since the college rep visits take place during Power Hour, they are now open to any grade level, so check out the bulletin board in the Career Center to sign up for any of the colleges you might be interested in hearing about.

    You must be signed up to attend.

     

    STUDENTS -- Vanderbilt's in Lawrence is hiring part-time help. Pay is $8.25 per hour. Stop by the Career Center for more information.
