Hello! Thank you for visiting my page.

I am so excited to spend the year with your child and learn about your family. This is my first year teaching at the elementary level. I am a KU graduate with a degree in speech-language-hearing pathology. However, when I completed that degree I felt called to be in the classroom. I then began my journey to teaching. I taught pre-k for four years at Hilltop Child Development Center in Lawrence. While working there I completed a second degree from Fort Hays State University in elementary education. I was lucky enough to student teach at Eudora Elementary in 3rd grade and even more lucky they be able to stay at Eudora to teach 3rd grade. It is an exciting time and I can't wait to get started. 

In 2009 I moved from Denver, Colorado to Lawrence, Kansas to go to college. While in college, I loved to go country line dancing and that is where I met my husband. In 2016, we had our son and he is the light of our life. I enjoy being outside, reading, crafting, but most of all enjoying time with my family. This year will be exciting for both me and your child. I can't wait to meet you and your family.
