Hello!  My name is Mr. Barrett.  This is currently my 22nd year as a teacher.  I had previous stops in Lebo and Burlington.  I have three wonderful kids that keep me on my toes, they go to school in Lawrence.  Brooklyn - 12, Brendan - 10 and Braysen - 6.  They are all very active in sports and other activities.  I am very excited to start my new journey here in Eudora!  This will be the first year since I was in college I have not coached basketball.  I have previously been the head high school boys coach at both Lebo and Burlington.  I was able to coach some great teams and was able to experience the state tournament five times in 14 years as a head coach.  Ill miss it, but it's time to focus on my kids and their activities.  In addition to teaching and coaching I am currently the Fire Chief in Burlington.  I have been in the fire service for 26 years.  I also have a couple of small businesses and some rental properties so I do stay fairly busy.  As an new teacher in the district I am very excited to get to know the students, my co-workers, parents and community members.
