Dear EHS Families and Students,
I wanted to provide you some clarity connected to the learning model to be used at Eudora High School starting on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. EHS has been moved into the “Hybrid Learning” model, where the student populations will attend in-person at school on specific days of the week. In-person attendance is dependent on the student’s hybrid group designation. This designation is clearly identifiable within the PowerSchool application when logging into a device and reviewing your child’s EHS enrollment information.
For the week of January 19th through January 22nd the model to be used at EHS will be an A/B/A/B schedule. This means a student designated as an “A” group student would attend school in-person on Tuesday and Thursday, and participate virtually on Wednesday, and Friday. Those students designated as a “B” group student would participate virtually on Tuesday and Thursday, and attend in-person on Wednesday and Friday. To be clear, when completing virtual learning, students will need to check in with their teachers electronically each class period.
This graphic should provide a visual clarification for next week’s learning model:

An update on the learning model to be used in the following weeks of school will be sent out next week from the high school.
EHS will continue to follow the “Cardinal Time Schedule” for each of the daily class periods. Those students that have chosen to be “Remote Learners” for the 3rd quarter are to continue the procedural processes in place for attendance and classroom participation.
Thank you for your continued patience. It will always be important to provide our students with the best quality educational experiences using the safest methods available. If you have questions connected to the Hybrid Learning model, please send an email or call the high school.
Respectfully,
Ron Abel, EHS Principal
