Congratulations to Kelly Mulvihill, Eudora Chamber of Commerce Teacher of the Month for March! Mulvihill, a kindergarten teacher at Eudora Elementary School, has taught for 12 years, one year in Eudora. She is a member of KNEA and the Technology Committee.
"The most rewarding thing about being an educator," she said, "is helping little minds grow each day. By being their cheerleader, coach, mentor and guide, I get to work as a team with their family, other educators, and the community to help students grow and learn."
Mulvihill's goal is to "teach in Eudora and build lasting relationships in the community. When my kids are grown, I'd like to be an adjunct professor for education students."
Mulvihill and her husband John have two children, Bryce and Brooke. She is the daughter of Beth and Kent Foerster of Topeka, Kansas.
