Free Meals for Eudora Students to Start the 2020-2021 School Year

We are excited to share the news that the federal food service program that provided free meals to all students of Eudora Schools last spring has been extended. Beginning Tuesday, September 8, 2020, all Eudora Schools students will eat (breakfast and lunch) at no cost to their families. This will run through December 31, 2020, or until federal funds run out. After December 31, 2020, or when the federal funds run out, meal charges will return to our standard practices.

We also want to take this time to remind families to complete the federal Free and Reduced Meal Program application if they have not already done so. The Free and Reduced Meal Program is designed to help families. You may stop by our schools and pick up a copy of the application. Or, you can click here to access and print the federal free and reduced meal application.

Even though we have access to free meals for all students to begin the 2020-2021 school year, it is important for families to complete the federal Free and Reduced Meal Program application. This will ensure qualifying families will not be charged full prices when the funding for the federal meals for all students ends or runs out later this year.
